Snack Dogs is a mobile e-food truck with an intention to serve high-quality hot dogs in green parks, public spaces, and private parties, and bring a smile to the faces of people with an unforgettable experience.


It all started with an idea in the local park back in 2021. The idea of a student to combine a passion for gastronomy, studies, willingness to start a business, and test it. The idea was to bring refreshment on the wheels to the places where it is needed.

The first step of the process was to verify the idea by research in the local park. The research was conducted in Munke Mose Park in Odense and lasted a month. Altogether was conducted 250 surveys, 250 interviews, 10-hour observation, and two workshops.


The second step was to buy a food truck from abroad. Unfortunately, due to a lack of finances, it was not possible to make it happen, and the project got stopped. After a couple of days, the student of IT - Product Design at Syddansk University did not want to leave the idea being just an idea, he was motivated to make it happen. Therefore, he decided to build an e-food truck on its own and according to restrictions of the local municipality.
